Sunday Night Activities begin September 20 for all ages | Compassion Kids/Sunday Night Live and Worship Arts for Students/Adult Bible Study/DRW | Sunday Night Bible Study: (5-6:15 p.m. – September 20 & 27 / October 11 & 18 / November 1 & 8) in the McDaniel Room
If your faith is ready for the next step and you enjoy exploring the hard questions—this study is for you. Join Allison in The Bible with and without Jesus: How Jews and Christians Read the Same Stories Differently by Amy Jill Levine. Over 6 sessions, we will explore 6 passages from the creation of the world to, to a virgin bearing a child, to Christ’s words “Why have you forsaken me” and seek to understand how each passage was originally understood and might be heard now in both Jewish and Christian contexts. Participant guides are available for $10 by contacting Kim Wicks at wicks@fbcrichmond.org
