Director of Stewardship
Rusty serves as Director of Stewardship. A native of Easley, SC, he calls the Upstate of South Carolina home and as a proud Clemson Tiger, he knows why sunsets have a beautiful orange glow. He and his family moved to Richmond in 2007 to study at Baptist Theological Seminary. Serving as a youth pastor and campus pastor reminds him that The Church is God’s plan to bring heaven to earth. As Area Director for Rise Against Hunger, he again helped connect people to purpose.
He is married to Darie since 1998. She serves as the Children’s Pastor at Glen Allen Baptist. They have three kids, Abigail, Zachary and Jonathan. Dad jokes are the supreme form of humor—why did the pennies partner up? It made more cents to work together!
