Youth Ministry Associate
Mukshah Phom serves as the Student Ministry Associate. She is originally from Nagaland in Northeast India and is passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged in their faith. Her ministry is shaped by a deep love for community and a desire to reflect God’s love in ways that are inclusive and life-giving.
She has served in children’s and youth ministry for many years, both in India and in the U.S. She has taught Sunday School and worked with ministries that support children and youth. She earned her Master of Sacred Theology from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, her Master of Theology from the United Theological College in Bangalore, and her Bachelor of Divinity from Union Biblical Seminary in Pune, India.
Mukshah Phom is married to Rev. Sam Thomas Arisapogu. She loves gardening, crafting and exploring new spots to eat in Richmond.
