Beth Davis

Director of Communication

(804) 358-5458 x123

Beth serves as the Director of Communication. She comes to Richmond’s First Baptist Church with years of creative direction, communications, and project management experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit world, as well as her own marketing business. Beth is passionate about storytelling, whether in the written or visual form. Faith informs her work, and she cherishes the opportunity to guide mission-based organizations in their engagement efforts. She loves mentoring creatives and taught graphic design, writing, and editing at VCU for years.

Always switching things up, she earned a Pre-Med degree from WVU then a master’s in journalism from Marshall University. Beth grew up in Dublin, Va. but the Mountain State will always hold a special place in her heart—particularly a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it community between two unincorporated signs known as Jumping Branch.

Beth is a proud cat mom. She is the lead vocalist in two Richmond-area bands and has been performing since age 3. Her interests include collecting and wearing vintage clothing, thrifting, animal rescue, creative writing, kayaking, baking, and continually renovating her 1890 farmhouse in the stickweeds of South Chesterfield.
