Pop-Up Market

Fresh organic produce from Charlotte Acres Farm will be available after the service in the Mulberry Portico near our main entrance. Proceeds go toward supporting our access plot which provides fresh produce to those in Richmond who are food insecure. Pay on the church app, cash or credit card by form.
Movies in the Courtyard
July 24 & August 21 | 8 p.m.
Enjoy classic films projected onto our big screen. Bring a chair or blanket and have some snacks while we watch some fun flicks out on the Courtyard. FREE and fun for the whole family!

Music Camp
“The Not so Terrible Parable” Week hosted at Richmond’s First Baptist Church.
8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | August 4-8 | Completed grades K-4 | Limited to 60 children | Cost for mornings $65
Extended day option: $15
Morning classes consist of: choir, bells and chimes, art, drumming and orff, recorders, and drama. Snacks include: cheese sticks, applesauce, frozen yogurt, goldfish, graham crackers, apples, grapes, water and/or Capri Sun.
National Night Out
August 5 | 5-7 p.m.
Richmond’s First Baptist Church will be at the Fan & Museum District events on National Night Out. Location announced by the Fan & Museum District Associations. If you live in the neighborhood stop by our booth for face painting or snow cones!
Summer Concert
August 6 | 6-8 p.m.
Richmond-area band Virginia Weather will be back again this year to perform their unique blend of country, rock, jazz, and folk. Order dinner beforehand and come hang out on the courtyard for acoustic covers of your favorite songs!
Faith Night at the Flying Squirrels
August 14 | 6 p.m.

Summer Block Party
June 18 | 5-7 p.m.
Come celebrate our 245th birthday with us! We’ll have games, music, and fun for the whole family.
We’ll have lots of games and our DJ will be spinning fun tunes while we grill out on our Monument Avenue Courtyard. For $5, you can grab a meal with hamburger or hot dog, chips, and a drink. FREE ice cream and cupcakes are available as well.
