On the lower level of Richmond’s First Baptist Church you will find a food pantry, clothes closet, laundry program, showers and more along with a group of dedicated volunteers who are ready to make life just a little easier for those who find themselves in need of assistance. As part of our Compassion Ministry, we try hard to make life here in Richmond look a little more like heaven. Some days it’s as simple as a hot cup of coffee, clean clothes and a friendly face.
Beyond the services you will find below, we also offer a lending library, sleeping bags and blankets, toiletries, and assistance in acquiring identification.

Food Boxes
Monday through Friday we make up boxes with approximately one week’s worth of food that can be picked up by clients, social and caseworkers, or other ministries. To learn more or request a box, email Steve Blanchard.
