Food and Faith: The Sabbath Feast

First-century Jews enjoyed a special meal each week on the Sabbath or Shabbat. It was a time for family and friends to gather around the table as part feast and part worship. You are invited to join us as we learn about this traditional meal and then go into the kitchen where we will prepare our feast and eat together. The menu includes braised chicken, Bulgur pilaf, Egg bread, Oil and Thyme Dip, Olives, and a Chickpea and Cucumber Salad. No cooking experience is needed!
