Deacon Ordination

We invite you to attend our annual Deacon ordination service in the Sanctuary. We will ordain 6 new deacons and welcome 18 returning to active service for three-year terms.
The role of a deacon is incredibly important as this person discovers and lives out the ministry of the church, prays for discernment regarding decisions affecting the church, pastor, church staff, and God’s leadership regularly. Additionally, they collect the offering and serve communion.
