Young Adult Thursday Nights
Young Adults (in their 20’s and 30’s) meet up each Thursday at 2705 Park Ave from 6-8 p.m. for a meal, conversation, and Bible study. This group desires to build lasting friendships in a welcoming and relaxed environment. Each week dinner is served along with interactive conversations around the stories of the Bible. As you navigate adulthood, we invite you to join this group in discovering that God’s love for you isn’t dependent on success or failure. Instead, every experience is an opportunity to learn something new about yourself and God’s expansive love.
We are guided by the idea that “we make the road by walking.” That is to say, your life is still in the making. There are many choices yet to be made that will add to your story. If life is to be lived to its fullest, we’ve got to embrace all of it. Through God’s revelation in the Bible, God’s incarnation in the person of Jesus, and God’s empowering gift of the Holy Spirit, we seek to discover more about our own life and how we can join God in bringing hope and meaning to the world God has given us.
Right now we are on Summer break with special events on different days throughout the summer. Join us this Fall starting back in September every Thursday night at 6 p.m.!

Sunday Morning Bible Study
Starts at 10 a.m.
College Age – Room 230 B
Students who come together to form a faith community as they connect to the larger congregation through Bible study, service, and worship.
Young Adults – Room 230C
Teachers: Emma Tilley, Shawn Smith, & Rotating Teachers
Comprised of young adults, 20s and 30s without children. This conversational group with rotating leadership is focused on cultivating an atmosphere of acceptance while they explore how scriptures influence their faith and impact their lives.
Sunday Lunch
Once a month we journey to a local restaurant for some delicious food and conversation. Meet in the common area behind the Sanctuary to walk with us or catch a ride with a friend. For the latest information on when and where we will meet next follow us on GroupMe or Instagram.
College Scholarships
College and seminary scholarships are available each year for First Baptist Members. Applications will be accepted beginning January 1. Please look for more details soon.
