Our hope is that every one will find their place in a Small Group, Sunday School Class, or Weekday Bible Study as they continue to grow in their faith! The Christian journey is the process of our hearts, heads and hands being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others. Loving God with one’s whole heart, soul, strength, and mind, as well as loving one’s neighbor as oneself, is integral to this transformation process. We offer many opportunities and ways for spiritual growth and discipleship. Sundays
Kick off your Sunday at First Baptist with a class of your choosing. As Christians, we are always becoming and transforming into the person that God wants us to be. If we listen closely, God will use our head, heart, and hands to live like Him and shape each of us to live like Jesus. Involvement in small groups and classes is a perfect way to explore your faith.
When all three aspects are attuned to God’s mission in the world, God is able to more effectively conform us. Through Bible studies, ministry training, retreats, small groups, discipleship classes, and one-on-one spiritual guidance, the Ministry of Christian Formation is committed to encourage, equip, and walk with you on the path toward wholeness in Christ.

Weekdays
Whether you start your morning with a Biblical perspective or end your day at one of our wonderful Wednesday night classes, weekdays at FBC are a great way to fellowship with your neighbors in Christ.
Beginning September 14, Kathy Thompson will lead an incredible study through the most perplexing teachings of Jesus in scripture and you are invited! Join in person or online for “The Difficult Words of Jesus” written by Amy Jill Levine, a Jewish New Testament Scholar! Unpack passages where He instructs disciples to hate members of their own families (Luke 14:26), to act as if they were slaves (Matthew 20:27), to sell their belongings and give to the poor (Luke 18:22), and so much more.
