The Pulpit Supply Team, lead by Mike Harton and David Powers, is off to a great start. They have engaged the first round of pulpit guests and set a schedule for Sunday morning pulpit supply through mid-May.
Dr. Scott Spencer will be with us from Sunday, November 1 through Sunday, January 31, 2027. Dr. Phyllis Rodgerson Tessieri will be the Martha Stearns Marshall preaching guest on Sunday, February 7, and Dr. Mike Clingenpeel will be with us from Sunday, February 14- Pentecost Sunday May 16. We are grateful for the work of this team.
The Identity Team is nearly complete. We are waiting to hear back from a few potential members, and then we will bring that team to the deacons for a vote. That team will have the leeway to determine the best ways to engage the congregation in gathering information for the report on our identity to be used by the Pastor Search Team as they seek our next senior pastor.
The Interim Planning Team will begin working out the details by which the congregation and the team will select and appoint the Pastor Search Team. We ask for your continued prayers for the work of these teams and for our church as we navigate this time.
