Electronic Giving

Have you ever thought of contributing to First Baptist Church by way of "electronic giving?" There are several ways this can be done, all of which are easy and safe:

E-Giving.
The FBC E-Giving service permits easy, safe and secure online giving by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), debit card, or electronic bank transfers from a checking or savings account. To participate...

  • Go to the FBC E-Giving Login page.
  • If you are new to this service click "Not signed up yet? Sign up here!" to setup an account.
  • If you are a returning user login using your User Name and Password.
  • From the main menu there are a number of options from which to choose.
  • To make a donation select "Go To My Organization's E-giving Donation Page." A donation may be made immediately, scheduled for a future date, or scheduled on a recurring basis in the future.
  • You can even download an app for your smartphone and make donations while on the go. Read more about how to do that...

Electronic transfer of funds.
The second method is by way of an "electronic transfer of funds" from your bank or credit union account to the church's bank. To accomplish this...

  • Complete the First Baptist Church "electronic transfer of funds authorization agreement." To view and print a copy of the agreement (PDF) click here.
  • You can specify electronically transfer of funds to First Baptist monthly or semi-monthly. Transfers are made either on the fifth or twentieth day of each month.
  • Attach a voided check from your account to the authorization agreement and turn both in to the Church Business Office.
  • Once activated the agreement may be increased, decreased, or terminated at any time by written notification or Email.
  • Please allow two to three weeks from receipt of your request for transfers to begin.

Electronic bill pay.
The third method is to set up a recurring payment, perhaps monthly, for a given amount, using the "electronic bill pay" feature of your bank’s online service. The church will be in receipt of a paper check by mail on a regular basis from the your bank. Naturally, you will need to designate First Baptist Church as a payee in bill pay, noting the Church Envelope Number as cross-reference for accounting purposes.

Should you have any questions please contact Billy Burford, Church Administrator (804) 358-5458, ext 152.
