2011 Church Budget to be
discussed January 26
- this item posted
January 20, 2011
The Budget Team will present the proposed church budget for 2011 for discussion
during the regular quarterly church business meeting Wednesday, January 26 at
6:15 p.m. in the Dining Hall. See the
budget.
Development of the annual budget is usually completed in the fall. But it was
delayed this year due to the shortfall in giving the church was experiencing in
the early fall. Most of that shortfall was made up through a special offering
October 31, and offerings which were above average through the end of the year.
Total offerings in 2010 were $3,085,000. The 2010 budget was $3.2 million. The
proposed 2011 budget is based upon expected gifts of $3.1 million for the year.
