How we do church: The Swoosh
At Richmond's First Baptist Church, we're trying to embrace the Great Commandment
and fulfill the Great Commission. The Great Commandment is to "love God with
all your heart, mind, soul, and strength and your neighbor as yourself." The
Great Commission is to "go into all the world and make disciples of every nation,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and teaching
them to obey" all that Jesus commanded his disciples. Jesus also told his disciples
to love one another. How do we do that? Take a look at this video and see how

Our church is organized around seven major ministry areas: Community,
Invitation, Formation, Worship, Compassion, Communication, and Support. Each of
these areas is led by an Associate Pastor.
